The building

The Henry T. Wing School served Sandwich for close to a century and closed in 2015.

The goal

Give the old school a second life as age-restricted affordable apartments for the town.

Why it matters

Old schools have big windows, high ceilings and solid bones. Turning them into homes keeps a landmark in use and adds housing the town needs.
